CLASSES FOR 3-6 YEAR OLDS

Our little people's classes are highly successful and very popular.
Through fun, imaginative dance, drama and singing activities our tiny dancers are encouraged to explore, become independent and socially interact with each other in a safe and secure environment.
Not only do our classes help children to feel good about themselves, but they help them to learn and develop co-ordination, poise and rhythm plus the self- discipline and social skills which will help them to be 'school ready'.
Our classes are taken by Kathryn Taylor, who herself, is a highly qualified educational practictioner who has designed our Beginner's curriculum to incorporate the objectives of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework followed in schools.
We feel, for children to get the very best from dance classes and to be able to enjoy them to the full, that they should begin when they are physically and emotionally ready. Therefore we take our tiny dancers into our Pre-School and introduction classes from the ages of three to five years old.
All of our classes are held on Saturday mornings and last for half an hour. Parents are encouraged to enjoy our Tea Room whilst the classes are in progress and our Dancewear shop and Reception area are open in order to help with any enquiries.
Children are able to have a two week trial before they sign up with the school and our fees are extremely competitive!
In addition, we have 'Open Classes' once a term where parents and realtives can see how their children have progressed - and children are given their first 'taster' of performing to an audience. They are also able to take part in shows and other school events as soon as they are confident enough to enjoy and succeed in these activities.
All of our children are presented with certificates as they reach and accomplish a certain level of skill.
Once they have gained a firm foundation, they have the opportunity of being entered for the Royal Academy of Dance 'Dance To Your Own Tune' Level 1 and 2 where they are presented with 'special certificates' signed by Dame Darcy Bussell no less!
